Review: MALVOLIA’S MEMORABLE THANKSGIVING 2

Following on the heels of THE QUEEN OF SCREAMS: A HALLOWEEN SPECIAL Malvolia is back with another holiday treat for her fans, MALVOLIA’S MEMORABLE THANKSGIVING 2. At just about 10 minutes it’s a nice little snack.

Set in 1955 Malvolia (Jennifer Nangle UGLY SWEATER PARTY, IRRATIONAL FEAR), has car troubles she needs to borrow a phone to call for help. When a handsome young man ( James Craigmiles) answers, it looks like there might be sparks flying. But it is a day for feasting, and this is The Queen of Screams we’re talking about.

Regular viewers may be a bit surprised by MALVOLIA’S MEMORABLE THANKSGIVING 2. It’s considerably bloodier and shows a darker side of the character. And I fully approve of the change of pace, she’s an evil demon, she needs to act like one at times. Here she’s suitably evil and animalistic, with some decently gory effects to back it up.

Something else I approve of is the added dose of dark eroticism Malvolia has here. Looks and sex appeal have always been a part of the character obviously. But in this episode there are some shots of her, blood dripping from her mouth onto her breasts that have the same feel as classic shots of Hammer’s female vampires from TWINS OF EVIL and LUST FOR A VAMPIRE. It’s a look that will have victims lining up.
