A while back we reviewed HORROR HOUSE, a pilot for an upcoming TV show from David Black. Well, in addition to that, David’s been at work on a feature as well, BADASS BUNYIP.

The Bunyip is a mythical creature from Australian Aboriginal mythology. It lurks in swamps, billabongs, creeks, riverbeds, and waterholes. And like most creatures from mythology, it’s not something you want to piss off. and that’s exactly what Shazza (Tritia DeViSha) and Gazza (David Black) masnage to do.

To quote the film’s press release:
Starring Tritia DeViSha and David Black as our lovable bogans, Shazza and Gazza, we are taken on a roller coaster ride of murder and mutilation as they flee a wild, rampaging bunyip after accidentally choosing an Aboriginal sacred site for their Christmas picnic.

The bunyips of ancient Aboriginal legend were unstoppable killing machines. No rhyme, no reason, no chance! Can anything save Shazza and Gazza in this no holds barred, bad taste orgy of gore and carnage?

You can keep updated on BADASS BUNYIP via its Facebook page.
