I’ve reviewed several of Jeremiah Kipp’s films including Slapface, Theresa And Allison and Black Wake. So when he asked if I wanted to take a look at some shorts he and some friends were doing in quarantine, of course, I said yes.
These aren’t flashy or even narrative films in a traditional sense. Just talented actors and actresses doing readings while in quarantine then edited together. The three pieces are Edgar Allan Poe’s THE BELLS, Pablo Neruda’s SONNET 17 and a new work called “Jumper” by NY playwright Sooz Nolan.
They’re all excellent and something different to break up the days stuck inside.
