Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Aaron Eckhart are Caught in an Ambush

It looks like Jonathan Rhys Meyers is everywhere lately, I no sooner post a preview of his horror in the hospital flick Disquiet than word of the Vietnam War set action film Ambush arrives in my mail. This one sounds like it’s centred around the so-called “Tunnel Rats” who took the war to the Vietcong in the network tunnels they dug to move around without being spotted by American forces.
That’s at least something different, the only film I can think of to cover that ground was Tunnel Rats by, of all people, Uwe Boll. I’m going to guess this has to be better than that, though I’m not expecting another Apocalypse Now I’ll happily take another Siege of Firebase Gloria. We’ll find out when Saban Films releases it on February 24.

Looks like an old school actioner from Cirio Santiago but with a little more class. Looking forward to this.
Not sure if class is the word I’d use but it does look like a bigger-budgeted version of one of his films.
