Watch Out For “Satanic Hispanics”

We reviewed the anthology Satanic Hispanics which features five stories from five Latino directors when it debuted at last year’s Fantastic Fest and called it “a fun film that doesn’t feel like it runs for a little under two hours”. We also mentioned that Epic had picked it up for release via their Dread label. Well, they’ve finally announced a release date, it will be arriving in theatres on September 14th. You can check out the review and read the press release below.

Directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Demián Rugna (Terrified), Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead), and Eduardo Sánchez (The Blair Witch Project), SATANIC HISPANICS is a deep dive into Latin folklore fused through a genre lens, spotlighting Hispanic talent both in front and behind the camera. The film has also received festival accolades including the Best Director award at Fantastic Fest 2022.
