Trailer Drops for Suitable Flesh
The red band trailer for Joe Lynch’s upcoming Lovecraftian shocker Suitable Flesh has dropped ahead of its October 27th release. Based on Lovecraft’s 1933 short story “The Thing on the Doorstep, Dennis Paoli developed it with the late Stuart Gordon, with whom he’d collaborated on several other films based on the late author’s work, Re-Animator, From Beyond and Dagon.
While it remains to be seen if Lynch can fill Gordon’s shoes, the film does have a great cast including Heather Graham, Judah Lewis, Bruce Davison, Johnathon Schaech and Barbara Crampton to help it along as well as Brian Yuzna as one of the producers. Hopefully, Suitable Flesh will follow in the footsteps of Paoli’s other adaptations and give us the kind of gonzo dose of Eldritch horror we’ve been waiting for since Color Out of Space.
