Emile Hirsch is Out For Revenge in Walden
What can I say about vigilante films that hasn’t already been said a million times? The trailer for the most recent one, Walden, from writer/director Mick Davis and starring Emile Hirsch as the titular court stenographer turned self appointed avenger looks like Seven, if that film’s killer was the hero. Whether that’s enough to make the film stand out in a very crowded field remains to be seen.
Uncork’d Entertainment will release the film in select theatres on November 10, 2023, and on digital and on-demand on December 12, 2023.
Synopsis:
Walden Dean is a stenographer, whose mind witnessed all types of injustices in the courtroom. After discovering he has a terminal illness, repressed anger deep within him surfaces – taking justice into his own hands in the most gruesome ways imaginable.
