Kelsey Grammer and William Moseley Go Behind the Lines in “Murder Company”

This year marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and Maverick Films has Murder Company, a new Normandy themed film, to go with it. It features Kelsey Grammer as General Haskel, whose men have to go behind the German lines to help the French Resistance to assassinate a high value German target.

Those men include William Moseley from the Narnia films as Southern, Coolidge played by Pooch Hall who you may remember from Hood of Horror and the recent Tubi film Alarmed as well as Joe Anderson from The Crazies and The Ruins as Smith and Gilles Marini as the French Resistance operative Daquin. German actor Roman Schomburg plays their target, an SS officer who, in a bit of understatement, is described as “an evil man”.

It’s directed by Shane Dax Taylor, who also helmed The Best Man which was pretty good, and Masquerade which wasn’t. Similarly, Jesse Mittelstadt wrote Across the Hall, but also penned Tow, which was bad even by Tubi Original standards. Hopefully, both were on top of their game this time. We’ll find out on July 5th when Maverick Films unleashes Murder Company on theatres, VOD and Digital Platforms.
